On 16 April 2024, the 2nd day of the international trade fair Tube 2024, Stahl-Kommunikation will once again be organizing a specialist event. The motto of the wire & Tube Convention 2024 is "The green transformation of the steel industry - how it is already succeeding today". Internationally renowned industry insiders will give presentations and discuss with the trade audience.
Current status and development trends from the perspective of the steel trade in Germany
The presentations will look at the prospects on the sales and procurement markets for steel tubes from the perspective of steel distribution. In addition to the general economic data, analyses of the individual steel processing industries play an important role here. The role of the steel trade in sustainability/green steel is also covered, as is the topic of AI/digitalization.

The "Green Jobs Forum" taking place on April 18 and 19 in Hall 1 as part of the "High Potential Days" initiative of wire & Tube is aimed at students, prospective engineers and university graduates as well as HR managers in the metallurgical industry. The event, which follows the motto "Green Work - Better World", will focus on the topics of New Work, Female Leadership and Green Engineering on April 18 and Social Recruiting, Applicant Management and Purpose-driven Company on April 19.

There will be another highlight in Hall 6. Our strategic partner, SawExpo GmbH, will be holding its "Cutting and Sawing Forum" here. Under the motto "Business meets science", there will be daily speaker events on all aspects of cutting technology. Well-known representatives from both exhibiting companies and universities have already confirmed their attendance. Our partner is particularly proud to present the Friday. We are planning a "High Potential Day" dedicated to students and other young professionals. All contributions will be tailored to our "young professionals".
